Introduction

These Terms govern the provision of maintenance, repair and/or renovation services by HRD Professional Handyman Pte Ltd (“HRD” or “the Company”) to its clients.

By engaging HRD’s services, the client agrees to be bound by these Terms.

Services

HRD agrees to provide maintenance, repair and/or renovation services as agreed upon in the contract.

The scope of services, materials, and timelines will be outlined in the contract or agreed upon in writing.

Payment

The client agrees to pay HRD the agreed-upon fees for the services provided.

Payment terms, including deposit requirements and milestone payments, will be specified in the contract.

Invoices shall be issued by HRD, and payment is due within the specified timeframe.

All deposits are non-refundable.

Changes and Amendments

Any changes or amendments to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.

HRD reserves the right to adjust the project timeline and fees accordingly for any approved changes or amendments.

Allow access Arrangements

Our workmen will require access to all areas of the premises where work is to be carried out.

We will adhere to safety protocols and guidelines established for accessing the premises.

Necessary equipment or materials will be brought onto the premises by our workmen team and removed upon completion of the work.

Use of Utilities

Our work may require access to water for tasks such as cleaning, mixing materials, or plumbing work.

Electricity may be needed to power tools, equipment, and lighting necessary for the work.

Our workmen will require access to restroom facilities for their comfort and convenience during their time onsite.

Concealment Matters

HRD acknowledges that certain concealed elements such as pipes, wiring, or structural components may be encountered during the renovation process.

HRD shall promptly notify the client of any concealed elements discovered during the renovation process.

Any additional work or costs arising from concealed elements shall be subject to the client’s approval before proceeding.

Consent of Work Media Recording

HRD team members will record the work state as per the contract only.

Recorded media may be used for internal review, client updates, marketing materials, or any other relevant purposes deemed appropriate by HRD.

Recorded media shall not be shared with third parties without prior authorization from HRD management or the client, unless required by law.

Completion of Work

Completion of work shall be considered upon satisfactory final inspection of the work by the client or occupancy of the improvement by the client, whichever occurs first.

Warranty

Warranty period shall start from the date of completion.

Maintenance and repair work: 90 days workmanship warranty.

Full renovation work: 1 year workmanship warranty.

Water proofing work: 1 year workmanship warranty.

HRD warrants that the renovation services provided will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner.

HRD will rectify any defects arising from its workmanship within a reasonable timeframe.

Call for warranty shall be made via Whatsapp +65 8318 9200, email at [email protected] or the Kickserv service portal complete with the order numbers and images / videos of the defects within the warranty period.

Exclusions:

Normal Wear and Tear: The warranty typically does not cover damage or deterioration that occurs as a result of normal wear and tear over time.

Improper Maintenance: Damage resulting from improper maintenance, neglect, or failure to follow care instructions provided by the contractor may not be covered.

Acts of Nature: Damage caused by natural disasters, such as floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, or storms, may be excluded from the warranty.

Third-Party Work: Any damage or defects caused by work performed by third-party contractors or subcontractors not affiliated with the renovating company may not be covered.

Client Modifications: Alterations or modifications made by the client or other parties after the completion of the renovation work may void the warranty for affected areas.

Misuse or Abuse: Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or improper use of the renovated space or installed fixtures may not be covered.

Structural Changes: Structural changes or modifications made to the renovated area after the completion of the project, without prior approval from the contractor, may not be covered.

Pre-existing Conditions: Damage or defects caused by pre-existing conditions or underlying issues in the building structure or materials may not be covered by the warranty.

Unauthorized Repairs: Repairs or alterations made by unauthorized individuals or contractors not approved by the renovating company may void the warranty.

Failure to Notify: Failure to promptly notify the renovating company of any issues or defects within the warranty period may result in the exclusion of coverage for those issues.

Liability

HRD shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from factors beyond its control.

HRD’s liability for any claims arising from its services shall be limited to the fees paid by the client for those services.

Termination

Either party may terminate the contract upon written notice in the event of a material breach by the other party.

Termination of the contract shall not relieve either party of any obligations accrued prior to the termination date.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

Workmen Rights

Workmen have the right to work in a safe and respectful environment.

Workmen reserve the right to stop work if they feel their safety or well-being is compromised due to verbal abuse, threats, or unreasonable demands.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter herein.

Prior discussions or verbal discussions by either party which are not contained in this contract, are not a part of this contract.

Expiration of this agreement

This agreement will expire 30 days after the quotation date sent to the client if not accepted in writing by the client.
